It Support Engineer

IT SUPPORT ENGINEER SERVICE WINDOW: MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00AM-6:00PM. SATURDAY 8:00AM-2:00PM PAYMENT TO BE DISCUSSED IN THE INTERVIEW. LOCATION: Antigua Carretera Sanchez, Km 18 ½ PIISA Industrial Park; Haina, San Cristobal LANGUAGE: Basic English language skills in reading, writing and speech as well as Spanish. SERVICE REQUIREMENT: - 2nd Level Support Providing IT support for users onsite in various areas of onsite support.

IMAC, BreakFix, Software management, troubleshooting etc. - Deployment Engineer Scheduling - Device preparation in deployment area (including unboxing, preparing for user collection in line with the deployment lists/schedules) - Device deployment - Deployment day user set-up including basic support to confirm user can access internet, email, MS Teams and other core business apps - Collect legacy equipment - Remove legacy equipment at the Client’s sites including any associated items *The scope might be extended

with some pre-deployment and basic network tasks like device imaging and staging, but so far this is under further negotiations with client.

ENGINEER’S PROFILE: - Working technical knowledge, in order to address service work orders, for PCs, laptops, cabling, televisions, projectors, phones, peripherals and site security equipment - Working technical knowledge of standard systems and business software - Local language and basic English skills - Customer facing soft skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge - Works on problems/projects of moderately medium-complex scope -

Exercises independent judgement within defined practices and procedures - Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. - Typically, 2-3 years of experience - Ability to provide disposal services - Able to independently problem solve - Able to provide feedback on new technical processes to help drive efficiency
