Industrial Training Program 2026 Are you ready to turn knowledge into experience? Overview New Porgera Limited (NPL) invites applications from highly motivated and academically high-achieving students for its annual Industrial Training Program . This program offers selected candidates a 12-week practical workplace internship , providing hands-on operational exposure and direct mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
Key Program Benefits 12 Weeks of Practical Work Exposure: Gain real-world operational experience within a major mining environment. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: Academic Performance: Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher .
Academic Level: Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study at a recognized PNG tertiary institution.
Eligible Disciplines: Engineering (Instrumentation, Mining, Mineral Processing, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) Geosciences (Geology, Lands & Surveying) Social & Environmental Sciences (Environment, OHS, Communication for Community Development) Business & Corporate Services (Human Resources, Finance) Application Requirements Interested applicants must submit the following documents in a single package: Formal Cover Letter Curriculum Vitae (CV) with current contact details Official Academic Transcripts Two (2)
