Position Description: Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Metallurgical Technician to join the Gold Quarry Roaster team. Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Met lab technician. As part of the team, the successful candidate will be a team player adding to our already, diverse, yet rewarding working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in process mining and metals.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform: Assisting in Metallurgical studies by executing sampling plans, preparing, and analyzing samples Supports operations when required with quality control sampling around calcine, slurry, and reagents Maintain laboratory and analytical equipment used in the process facility including the ordering of laboratory materials Assists with work order generation and sample submission with assay and metallurgical labs Assist Metallurgists and

Operations with process troubleshooting, plant surveys, test work, and controlled trials to improve recovery and process stability Develops and maintains an understanding of applicable programs, practices and existing/proposed local, State and Federal regulations applicable to area of assignment Maintain accurate sampling records, metallurgical databases, test-work documentation, equipment, and standard operating procedures Performs other duties as required Qualifications: Knowledge of the basic principles and

methods used in Metallurgical, laboratory and processing analyses preferred Ability to generate sample IDs and conduct assay lab submittal forms preferred Basic knowledge around SAP preferred Able to collect samples, process and accurately report on results safely required Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions required Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards required Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing required
