About the role
About the job: - We’re Hiring: Bilingual Patient Care Representative - Location: Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Onsite) - Employment type: Full-time | 9-hour shifts (between 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) - Position Summary Be the first point of contact between patients and the healthcare team. As a Bilingual Patient Care Representative, you will ensure patients receive timely assistance with appointments, follow-ups, and inquiries, always with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities - Manage patient appointments: scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-ups. - Provide accurate information about services, availability, and procedures (non-clinical). - Assist patients in English and Spanish with clarity and empathy. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA & company protocols). - Document interactions and escalate issues as needed.
Qualifications - High school diploma or ongoing university studies. - Fluent or advanced English level. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
